The other side of the RPG genre
There is no prophecy, you are not the chosen one, you are not the hero of this story, for heroes are arrogant and take what they please without consequences. You are a peasant who's had enough of that. It's time to rise up and put a stop to the actions of the drunken sell-swords!
The world will see you as the villain
The 'heroes' would not see reason, they continued to take what's yours and they payed the price. Eventually the world will see what you have done and the won't soon forgive you for killing their heroes. You will become their villain.

Yes. Even the dragon that's ready to tear your head off.
Deep and unique skill trees
Your actions in the world will have an effect on your skills: chop down all the trees and the druidic skill path will be closed off for good, but your chaotic and destructive powers will grow.

Prefer chill farming over chaotic destruction? We got you covered! In Peasant you can choose whether you want to be a symbol of peace or bringer of death, or even anything between! The karma system of Peasant is not linear so every choice will make your path a little different from others.
Base building and defence
To protect what's yours from the corrupt so-called-heroes you will find tools in the world that you can use to build up formidable defenses to protect your own home and even your whole home village!
